2018


Frederik Bork Jansen has been given a grant to study a semester of his master at Monash University in Australia in connection with his studies in technical science at DTU.

Inga Hansen has been awarded a grant to study a Master’s degree in journalism about indigenous peoples at Sami University in Norway.

Winnie Filemonsen has been given a grant for studying at Duke University in North Carolina, USA, in connection with her education in translation and interpretation at Ilisimatusarfik.

 

2017

Tukumminnguaq Jakobsen was given a grant to a further education in fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy.

Ivaana Olsen was given a grant to study a semester at Akita International University in Japan in connection with her education at Aalborg University, where she is studying English and international studies.

Maalia Lynge Christiansen has received a grant for an internship at Workbook Software in Vietnam in connection with her education at Aalborg University, where she studies languages and international studies.

Martin Christiansen has received a grant to study two semesters at John Cabot University (Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences) in Rome.

Sara Biilmann Egede has received a grant to attend one semester at the University of Otago in New Zealand, where she will primarily concentrate on the subjects of branding and consumer behavior. The semester should be seen as part of her Master Degree in Strategic Communication at Roskilde University.

Bettina Søgaard has received a grant to attend one semester at Swinburne University of Technology in Malaysia. She is studying  BEng (Global Management and Manufacturing) at the University of Southern Denmark.

2016

Uiloq Mathæussen has received a grant to study a Master degree in International Communication at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. The program takes 18 months.

Hans Peder Kirkegaard has received a grant for one year internship in the United States as a follow-up to his Master Education. The internship is spread over four jobs that are Maine International Trade Center, Rambøll Environ, Eimskip and The Port of Maine.

Majken Djurhuus Poulsen is geologist at GEUS and has in connection with her Ph.D. received a grant to study at “The Gemmological Association of Great Britain” in London, England.

Melisa Larsen graduates as bachelor in Arctic Technology at DTU this summer. She has received a grant to her further studies at “Master of Geographic Information Science” in Minneapolis, USA.

2015

Alex Amâsa Olsen has received a grant to study for a semester at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, as part of his engineering degree at the Technical University of Denmark.

Ane Eva Lange has received a grant so she can attend one semester at Norway’s technical-scientific university in Trondheim in connection with her engineering degree at the Technical University of Denmark.

Ann Eileen Lennert has received a grant for her PhD studies in Norway’s Arctic University of Tromsø. She has to examine how climate changes will affect the Greenlandic nature in the long term.

Inuuteq Storch has received a grant to study photography at ICP – International Center of Photography – in New York.

Nick Bæk Heilmann has received a grant to read his master’s degree in Contemporary China Studies at Renmin University in Beijing, China.

Angùnguak Thomas Kleist Jepsen has received a grant so he can study three semesters at Curtin University in Australia in connection with his education in geology at the University of Copenhagen.

Birthe Rasmussen is studying to be a nurse at Ilisimatusarfik. She has received a grant to complete a traineeship as a nurse in Tanzania via Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke.

Hans Peder Kirkegaard has received a grant to take a Master in International Trade at Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in the United States.

Mikaela Augustussen is a nurse and is currently studying a Ph.D. course at Ilisimatusarfik entitled “Palliative care for Greenland patients with advanced cancer in Greenland and Denmark.” She has thereby received a grant to do research on Norway’s Arctic University of Tromsø.

Mona Koch Madsen is a nurse. She has received a grant to study to be an intensive care nurse at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden.

Kathrine Naaja Rasmussen has received a scholarship to complete her clinical internship at the University Hospital in Bergen (Norway) in connection with her medical studies at the University of Copenhagen.

Qivioq Kern Kreutzmann has received a grant for an internship at Vator.tv in San Francisco in connection with the fact that she is one of the selected participants in the Danish entrepreneurship program “Entrepreneurs abroad”.

Anna Sørensen has received a grant to a final internship in an international organization or the like in connection with her ​​studies at the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication at the University of Copenhagen
