Japan and South Korea benefit from Greenlandic students

It is a great pleasure for Ivalo & Minik Fonden to announce that at the board meeting in March we have awarded two grants with a total value of more than DKK 300,000.

Chairman of the Board Minik Rosing states in this connection:

“Ivalo & Minik Fonden are always happy when we can contribute to students being able to go out into the world and improve their skills. I hope that the grants will also benefit both the students and Greenland.”

Since 2014, Ivalo & Minik Fonden has awarded more than 50 grants to Greenlanders who have traveled abroad to study. Ivalo & Minik Fonden receives annual donations from NunaFonden, Royal Greenland A / S, Royal Arctic Line A / S and the BANK of Greenland’s Business Fund, and can on that basis award grants.

”We are grateful for the social responsibility that NunaFonden, Royal Greenland A / S, Royal Arctic Line A / S and the BANK of Greenland’s Business Fund show with their donations. If we did not get money from them, we could not distribute grants,” explains Minik Rosing.

Spring grant recipients
Malik Koch Hansen has received a grant to study part of his postgraduate education in Social Sciences at the International University of Japan.

Lana Hansen Larsen has received a grant to study Korean at the Language International Campus in Seoul, South Korea.
