Grants from Ivalo & Mink Fonden to three ambitious Greenlanders

The Board of Ivalo & Minik Fonden has decided to award grants for a little more than 300,000 kroner. The grants are awarded to three talented and ambitious Greenlanders who were selected from a larger number of applicants.

“We are very happy to support the grant recipients and we wish them the best of luck with their studies,” says president of the board Minik Rosing. He continues:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank NunaFonden, Royal Greenland, Royal Arctic Line and GrønlandsBANKENs Erhvervsfond as only their donations have made it possible to award the grants.”

The grant recipients
Aviâja Egede Lynge has received a grant to complete the program “Human Rights Advocates Program” at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University in New York, USA.

Qupanuk Egede has received a grant to complete her education to become a Mining Engineer at Curtin University in Kalgoorlie, Australia.

Monika Paulli Andersen has received a scholarship to study a semester at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. The semester is part of her education at Copenhagen Business School where she is studying Master of Business and Development Studies.

Ivalo & Minik Fonden intends to convene a new round of applications in May 2014 with a deadline of 1 september.
