Ivalo & Minik Fonden awards grants for 280.000 kroner

The board of Ivalo & Minik Fonden has at its semi-annual board meeting in March decided to award three grants worth a total of 280,000 kroner.

In connection to that, Chairman of the Board Minik Rosing says:

“Ivalo & Minik Fonden will make dreams come true. We wish to provide financial support to Greenlanders who wants to acquire skills and qualifications far away from the safe and familiar environment in Greenland and/or Denmark. This time we have decided to award grants to Greenlanders going to New Zealand, Malaysia and Italy. It is our hope that the grant recipients will return to Greenland with a suitcase filled with skills that can contribute to the further development of the society. ”

The grant recipients can be seen on www.imf.gl.

The grants are funded based on donations from Royal Arctic Line A/S, Royal Greenland A/S, GrønlandsBANKEN’s Erhvervsfond og NunaFonden.

Ivalo & Minik Fonden continues of course to hand out grants. Next applicationdeadline is October 1, 2017. The Board looks forward to receive many good applications.

Best Regards,
Ivalo & Minik Fonden
