Ivalo & Minik Fonden secures the economy for the next three years

Royal Arctic Line A/S, Royal Greenland A/S, GrønlandsBANKEN’s Erhvervsfond and NunaFonden have all decided to continue their support for Ivalo & Minik Fonden. The new agreements are for the years 2018-2020, meaning that Ivalo & Minik Fonden can continue to allocate grants to Greenlanders who wish to take a further education in other countries than Greenland and Denmark

Since 2014, Ivalo & Minik Fonden has distributed more than 25 grants to Greenlanders who have traveled the world to make their educational dreams come true. This has only been possible because Royal Arctic Line A/S, Royal Greenland A/S, GrønlandsBANKEN’s Erhvervsfond and NunaFonden each year contribute financially to Ivalo & Minik Fonden.
“We have seen that most of the grant recipients return to Greenland with skills that benefit both themselves and the rest of society. We are proud of it, but it’s not free. Educational stays abroad cost a lot of money. Ivalo & Minik Fonden is deeply grateful that Royal Arctic Line A/S, Royal Greenland A/S, GrønlandsBANKEN’s Erhvervsfond and NunaFonden have made annual contributions to support the building of qualifications and competencies in the Greenlandic community. And we are extremely pleased that they have all chosen to continue their support in the years 2018-2020, “says chairman of the board, Minik Rosing.
